The top of the Vail Valley Real Estate Market continues to move.  The Vail Board of Realtors Multiple Listings Service recorded 11 eagle county homes sold for the first week of February 2015, led by one half of a Vail Village duplex selling for $9,400,000.  Three additional homes sold for over $1 million each, pulling the average for the week up to $1,683,836.  Three Bachelor Gulch condos sold in a single day (Feb. 2) for a total of $3,699,7000. As of Monday, Feb 9, there are 146 residential properties under contract in Eagle County.

National News

Keller Williams is now the largest real estate franchise by agent count, with over 112,000.  “Keller Williams is truly a company built by agents for agents,” incoming president John Davis told the crowds at the company’s annual Family Reunion conference. “We’re all agents. And we share the same mindset, values and vision.”

Also at Family Reunion, company founder Gary Keller delivered his intensive, 150-minute, 99-slide Vision Speech on the current state and projected future of the national and global real estate market.  In keeping with the Keller Williams philosophy that your agent should be your market expert, Keller provided the global outlook to compliment the local expertise of his audience.

What to do in the Vail Valley?

KC and the Sunshine Band will be playing on the Championship Plaza stage in Vail tomorrow as part of the Vail Valley Foundation’s free concert series. Going strong for 40 years, with seven number one singles and three triple-platinum albums, the Sunshine Band’s time-tested brand of Disco pop will make you get up and dance.
